Internet Explorer Workaround

Automatic update workaround for Microsoft Internet Explorer V7 or V8 (IE7 or IE8):

  1. Click on "Tools>Internet Options"
  2. Under "Browsing history", click "Settings"
  3. Under "Check for newer versions of stored pages:" Click "Everytime I visit the webpage"
  4. Click "OK"
  5. Click "OK" on the Internet Options main page"

The problem is that IE7 and IE8 do refresh the page once a minute, but they do not check to see if the images have changed, and instead the browser takes them from the local cache. The workaround causes it to get a new set of images each time the page is refreshed. FireFox and Safari browsers get the new images, and need no workaround.
