1. Task 7, Road Work Completed:
- During this past quarter, the road repair project Task 7 was completed. Scope was complete rebuild of Paint Pony, rebuild of one driveway and installation of a “low water crossing” to allow better drainage, five patch repairs on Mustang Mesa, and a 50’ rebuild on Buckskin. There was one approved change order for additional patchwork on Mustang Mesa and an extension of the repair on Buckskin.
- Rayburn did an outstanding job as inspector for the road project. His many years (we won’t say how many) of highway inspection for TxDOT presented us with the opportunity to have a real professional on the job each day to insure the owners got a top quality job.
- This work is now completed.

2. Road conditions
- The R&B Committee has received approval to make the intersection of Palomino and Mustang Mesa a 4-way stop. This will happen shortly. We will also be installing reflector warning signs at all culverts to warn drivers of the hazard.
- Task 8 is coming together and we should have a scope and estimate very soon.
