Sundance Ranch 2011 R&B Tasks
Task 11 - Task 11 has been completed. Work started on Task 11 (2011) as of July 25th and finished at the end of August. The schedule was setup so that the work could be complete before the start of school on August 25. Both Chisholm Trail and the City of Liberty Hill refused to provide a water meter so that the water truck can be refilled. This caused a great delay in getting water to the job site. This caused an hour and a half delay between tanker refills. This delayed the pouring of the ribbon curb by four days, and the asphalt paving by one week.
Task 10 - Last year (2009-2010) part of Task 10 consists of surveying and rebuilding the first section of Palomino and some much needed resurfacing of the north gate. The survey work is complete and has allowed us to route the new segment of Palomino and other roads in the future. It will take multiple years to complete Palomino, since it is such a long road. In addition, we have added a 6 inch raised curb on the bridges on Mustang Mesa just north and south of Palomino and have done all of the necessary road patches. The work on Palomino included completing Paint Pony to the intersection with Palomino. As Task 10, we were able to do all of the work on Palomino/Paint Pony (1400 ft on Palomino, 167 ft on Paint Pony), all road patches, both the east and west sides of the north gate, and the curbs on the two Mustang Mesa bridges. Because of the work on the north gate, all safety loops are now fully operational.
